Esterin Royal Park Apartments Eilat

The apartments were reasonably comfortable, but the pool listed in the description was empty. Other residents suggested it had been that way for more than just the winter. There was very little hand soap, and it was diluted. The elevator had no safety sensor and closed on both our baby stroller and our toddler, though fortunately nobody was hurt. We came to Eilat for a family holiday and booked two apartments. We were supposed to meet the contact person, Aliza, on arrival. We called her because we couldn't work out how to open the gate with the app. She only told us to use the app. Once we were standing at the gate, the first gate opened and we drove through. While we waited for the second one, the first began closing on our car. My husband tried to stop it, hoping to trigger what we thought was a safety sensor, but it kept closing on his hand and damaged part of the car. We called Aliza right away, but she blamed us and sent someone from the HOA, who also blamed and threatened us. The apartment owner said we could get the complex's insurance policy, then sent us from one person to another. It felt like they were avoiding responsibility. When a policy finally arrived, it was for the wrong year. Despite our efforts, they never sent the correct one. I wouldn't return or recommend this place.

The garden outside was clean and pleasant, but the pool and balcony weren't clean, and nobody came to fix the toilet flush after I asked. Parking was another problem. Someone took my assigned space, so I parked in an unmarked one, and got a sticker glued to my car window. When I called the manager, he said I should have blocked my space and blamed me for someone else using it. The staff made me feel like an intruder instead of a guest. It was a really bad experience.

We spent a few days at Avi's apartment in Royal Park. The gated area felt secure, and the pool was clean, though quite cold, even compared with the sea at night. Its 9-17 hours were a shame since we were usually out exploring then. At night, all the colors around the place made it look amazing.

The pool was crowded and dirty, and although it was meant to open at 10am, it opened half an hour late. It's scheduled to run from 10am to 6pm. Homeowners can walk their dogs beside the pool, while tourists renting rooms aren't allowed to, which doesn't seem fair.
