The maintenance here is the worst I've experienced at a hotel. The elevators don't work, even after we asked several times. Staff said they had fixed them, but they hadn't. People were climbing ten floors in temperatures over 40 degrees. The air conditioning also doesn't work in the hallways or stairwell, and they ignored that complaint too. Stay away for your own safety.

Shirley called a few hours before we arrived to say our room had been upgraded and that they were expecting us. I've never had a hotel call to say they were waiting for us before. When we got there, she was told we'd arrived and came out to welcome us. Many thanks to Shirley for the hospitality. I'd booked a deluxe room, but we were given a sixth-floor suite with a sea-view balcony and access to the lounge, where snacks were served. The room was very clean, and there was a thoughtful fruit basket and box of chocolates. It was a shame our vacation lasted only one day.

Shirley, the manager, was always there when needed, and I received several lovely bonuses from her. The staff in general were friendly and responsive, ready to help with any request and happy to accommodate us. Everything felt carefully arranged around the guest. The hotel impressed me with its beauty and excellent service. Thank you for a wonderful holiday in Eilat!

The hotel feels very old, there's no lobby, and room service is bad. They don't have enough workers.
