The lobby looks really nice and pretty, but the rooms are still in a hideous state. After hearing about the "renovation," I decided to give the hotel a chance. It feels like 90% of the budget went into the lobby. Keeping old, disgusting furniture on a new floor defeats the point. Our room was dirty, with cups, human hair on the bed, and hair on the shower walls. The weak lighting scared me most, as if they were trying to "hide" the room’s true nature. We waited 4 hours for a room replacement or cleaning and got neither. If the rooms were up to the lobby’s standard, this could have been a great place. This is NOT a 5-star hotel. You rarely find a true 5-star hotel in Eilat, if one exists. I guess you get what you pay for, but at 500$ a night in the off season, the least you should get is a clean room. Do yourself a favour, spend a few extra $ and go to Royal Beach.

The renovation is beautiful and luxurious, and it’s good that the hotel has been updated. It’s strange that Isrotel placed it in the regular collection instead of the exclusive Collection. The food is great and the service excellent.

The room wasn’t clean, and room service was very bad. At breakfast, they served coffee in a disposable cup. This is supposed to be a 5-star hotel. We booked a VIP room on the king's floor, which included access to the lounge. When I called to reserve, I asked whether children could use it. They told me only guests over 18 could enter, but that we could take some food away. This mattered a lot since I was travelling with my 6 year old. On the first two days there was no problem, but on the third, a lounge staff member said taking food away was forbidden. I explained that I’d done it before and had been told otherwise when booking, then asked to speak with someone responsible. They took my number but never called.

The pool area was stunning and picturesque, and the location was prime, right by the promenade, close to the beach and near the shopping centre. We had an amazing family stay. Everyone was welcoming and the service was great. The room was nice, and the hotel was very child friendly, with balloons and a kids room to play in. Breakfast was delicious, and everything was very clean, with staff always cleaning up any dirt. We really enjoyed it and look forward to coming back next time!
