Prima Music Eilat

The highlights were the breakfast, which was outstanding with show cooking and a huge selection, and the location right by the beach and coral reef. You can snorkel or scuba dive 100m from reception, and there are lots of restaurants between the hotel and the beach. It's very good value overall. If you book a renovated room, the hotel is a great option, though as of now those rooms are only available for two people. The pool and garden hours still make little sense for Eilat. I had mixed feelings, though nothing was highly negative. The receptionists weren't friendly, and ours seemed bored and uninterested in connecting with guests. The reception itself has been fully renovated and looks appealing. There's also a large hotel parking lot, which is convenient since not every hotel in Eilat has one. Our room for three hadn't been renovated and really needed it. It was spacious enough for two adults and a child, with a large closet by the entrance and a cute sea view through a small window. The bathroom needed a full refresh too. Only some of the rooms have been renovated. The pool hours were oddly short, 09h15 to 15h45. The sun is up by 7 am, local lifeguards train there daily, and sunset was at 17h00 after the winter time change that weekend. The garden around it is gorgeous, with a lovely lawn and plenty of space to sit and have drinks, but you can only use it during pool hours, so those facilities were unusable outside that window. Other local hotels open from 08h00 to 17h00. Management could keep the lawn accessible after the pool closes, since the pool already has a separate fence, and there's nowhere else to sit apart from the lobby. The only breakfast improvement I can think of would be to add a wider range of fruits to the fruit salad.

The spot was just right for us, a bit away from Eilat's main hotels and very close to Aqua Sport beach, where you can snorkel. We loved our three-night stay. The hotel has been renovated and is very clean, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds and pillows. The staff are friendly, especially Tequila in the dining room.

We arrived late, but the staff were welcoming and soon moved us to a fully refurbished room on the first floor. It was exceptionally clean, and the shower was great. Breakfast had everything we needed for the whole day, with a huge range of options. They also have excellent buffet dinners, though they're expensive if you don't book them with your room. If you have a car, you can find very good, cheap dinners in Eilat. The snorkeling here is excellent, and scuba diving is an option too. We hear Egypt may be better, but rental cars can't be taken out of Israel. I highly recommend the hotel and area over downtown Eilat.

The pool area was nice, the walk to the sea was short, and both breakfast and dinner were great for the price. But what really made it for us was Moshe Salsa, who directs the animation team, along with his fantastic crew. Tomer, Moshe Salsa’s right hand, was so helpful with everything, and Nitzan was part of the team too. What a team! Without Moshe and the others, especially Tomer and Nitzan, this hotel would be worth much less.
