The room had a comfortable bed, and from the fourth-floor window I could see the Bahai Garden. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and they offered complimentary hot cider when I arrived. Breakfast was gorgeous, with lots of salads, hot savory dishes, scrambled eggs and shakshuka, fresh-cut vegetables, dairy, breads, and spreads. I took a spontaneous overnight trip from Tel Aviv to Haifa, and the Golden Crown was a perfect choice. I was delighted that Saturday checkout was at 16:00, leaving plenty of time to wander the city, return to shower and change, then catch a bus back to Tel Aviv. The only downside wasn’t really the hotel’s fault: the family in the room next to mine, sharing a wall, had three young children who loved to scream and make a racket.

We stayed for one weekend night. It was a standard hotel in a good location, generally fine but overpriced. We booked a deluxe room with a king-size bed, but it was actually two twin beds pushed together, which could be misleading. At night, you can hear the toilet flushing or bath being used in rooms next door or above.

The breakfast was great, and the location worked really well, close to both the German colony and the port. Our only disappointment was the two beds in the room. They were very small.

We keep coming back to Golden Crown Haifa and are happy with our stays. The food selection at breakfast is excellent, and the kitchen chef has a little extra surprise each day. There's free covered parking at any hour. Staff are friendly and professional, always ready to help, and the rooms are comfortable, tidy, and cleaned daily.

The manager and reception team were kind and very helpful, and they accommodated our needs. Our room was a decent size, the hotel was very clean, and there was a good variety at breakfast. Thanks to the manager and everyone at reception.
