Leonardo Plaza Haifa

The room had a great view, and the staff were kind, but the stay was disappointing for the price. The beach location is about a 20-minute drive from downtown Haifa, and there’s no hotel parking, just public parking. Housekeeping didn’t come to our room for four days. At check-in, there were puddles in the bathroom. Maintenance couldn’t fix it, so they kindly moved us to another room. The AC in that room broke too, and maintenance got it working almost five hours after we asked for help. The staff were pleasant, but the building wasn’t what I expected for the price.

The beach view is amazing from almost every room. There’s a good breakfast, plus a gym and pool. Best choice.

The hotel is terribly maintained and managed. You can see it as soon as you enter the parking lot: the restaurant area is neglected, sewage is flowing, and garbage is everywhere. This place is an environmental hazard!

The breakfast was outstanding, with lots of cheeses, fresh fruit and salads, eggs, and plenty more, including fresh sweet and savory baked goods. The dining area was spacious, clean, and orderly. Our room was surprisingly roomy and well maintained, and the lobby and public areas were spotless. The hotel is right on the beach and promenade, with cafes and restaurants an easy walk away. Miri, the manager, and her staff were friendly and attentive to all the details, going out of their way to make the stay memorable. My partner and I had a wonderful time and hope to return.
