Finding the place was difficult, and there’s no sign outside. Check-in is self service and requires watching a video. The rooms are carved out of a shabby commercial building, and there’s no sea view or real guest house feel. They say it’s near the Bahai temple, but it’s more than two miles away. The neighborhood was a letdown too, with gas stations, parking lots, and what felt like complete sleaze. You have to switch on the hot water 15 minutes before you need it. The furnishings are bare bones, with nothing special or charming. One window doesn’t open properly, and the kitchenette is just a sink, tiny microwave, and tiny refrigerator. The beds are pine twins. This place was an incredible rip off.

The owner was quick to reach out on WhatsApp, even before I had a chance to contact him after getting off the plane. Self check-in was easy, and the place is close to everything and extremely affordable. I was on a Baha'i pilgrimage, so seeing the shrine of the Bab from the city view room was great for me. It’s no frills and just as advertised, with clean white everything and a great walk-in shower with a rainfall head. The building exterior looks a little rough, and I wouldn’t say it’s in the greatest neighborhood. I walked around for two weeks, though, and the whole city looks like that.

A short video explaining how to get there was really helpful. The apartment is clean, with a kitchenette and everything equipped for self service, and the sea view is fine. It’s in a central but quiet spot near Haifa’s Arab quarter.

The location was awesome for a weekend away, and I loved the hotel overall. Thanks for the sweet room and service. Maybe the bed could be better for couples in the future.

From the room there’s an open view over the sea and Haifa. The guest room was luxurious, clean, tidy, and well equipped, and the service was warm and very kind. There’s plenty of parking in the area. It’s in the city center, a few minutes’ walk from shops, restaurants, the market, and public transport. Highly recommend.
