The private rooms are big enough, even for an older couple, and there's a real sense of community here. Breakfast and coffee are great, and it's easy to get to. They also put on hummus making workshops, rooftop BBQs, Shabbat dinners and other events. Really great place, and I can recommend it.

There's a tram stop just around the corner, and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the old city, since the walk is a bit far for most people. The rooftop bar area and lounge are great for relaxing or having lunch or dinner. The facilities are great overall. Dorm beds are comfortable, though a curtain would give them more privacy.

The rooms are okay, nothing special, and the differences between them were pretty big, which is why I can't give five stars. I visited three times during a two-week vacation and saw three rooms. One four-bed room had plenty of space, a fridge and a nice corner to relax in. The eight-bed room was right by the main street and very loud at night. The other four-bed room had only two bunk beds and a chair, and got extremely cold overnight. If you just need a bed to sleep in, the rooms are fine, but nights can be chilly in the wrong room if you don't want to run the air conditioner on heat all night. The rest of the hostel was pretty amazing. Breakfast is included, all vegetarian, with lots of vegan options like I need. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The cozy lobby has lots to do: hang out at the bar, read books, play games from the shelf or billiards, or sit in one of the hanging chairs. I'd definitely recommend this as a nice place to stay in Jerusalem.

Our room was right beside the stairs to the rooftop and above the communal lounge, so it got rather noisy on days with live music. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we loved the breakfast and shared areas. The whole place has such a welcoming, easy vibe.
