Brown Mamilla

The manager made me feel so welcome when I first arrived that I decided to stay, and I’m glad I did. I’d expected an upscale Israel vibe, so the hotel’s New York American feel caught me off guard. The rooms are small, but the high ceilings and windows looking out are incredible. There’s real boutique charm and charisma here, and the staff are efficient and friendly. Their welcome back really does make it feel like coming home. The manager was around throughout, checking that everything met my standards and making me feel welcome. The breakfast was the best I’ve had on this trip. One heads-up for light sleepers: outside noise can wake you. The manager warned me and offered options. I’d give the hotel itself 4 stars, and the manager and food 5. Thank you!

The location made it easy to shop, eat, and explore, with Mamilla Mall, The Western Wall & Mahane Yehuda just down the street. I also loved having a balcony overlooking the city, a lovely place to relax, and the room was comfortable. The restaurant gave the charming boutique hotel a lively, fun feel. The food and warm atmosphere made it somewhere I wanted to spend time, whether in the morning or at the end of the day. Anton, the hotel manager, and Luis were both wonderful. Anton was friendly, attentive, and clearly committed to making things right for guests. Luis was just as kind and helpful, always ready with a smile. Their sincere, personal service, along with the rest of the team, made my stay comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. I’d happily return and recommend the hotel for its service, amenities, and location.

The restaurant serves fabulous food, and the hotel itself is excellent. It’s very close to the Old City.

A really nice hotel that welcomes pets. I highly recommend it, and the restaurant downstairs is amazing too.
