We’ll be regulars whenever we come to Jerusalem each month. Amir and the staff were nice, the price was good, and our room gave us better privacy than a hostel for about the same price as the hostels nearby. It was clean, with a small kitchen, refrigerator and microwave, plus a recently renovated bathroom that was very clean and nice. The balcony overlooked King George Street, which was undergoing major construction, so there was no traffic and it was very quiet. Double balcony doors with a space between them should also help keep the room quiet when there is traffic. The place is centrally located, two blocks from Ben Yehuda Street and Jaffa Street, and close to the light rail. Buses go everywhere. The lobby is small but pleasant. There’s apparently a coffee room in the basement, though we couldn’t find it.
I stay here on every trip. The location is outstanding, with easy access to all public transportation even during construction on King George Street. Service is great, the staff are super nice, and rooms are cleaned daily. They’ll also keep your luggage after checkout until you leave that day. Best hotel in Central Jerusalem, can’t recommend it enough.
The location is excellent, but this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Room 45 had such a foul odor soaked into the furnishings that it made me sick. I had to spend the whole night there before they moved me to a room that didn’t smell. Then, at 11 o’clock at night, people had been cleaning outside and rearranging furniture for about two hours. I called to complain, and they kept saying they’d stop, but the noise continued: doors slamming, furniture moving and trash bags being dragged around. Unbelievable.
The room was clean and the location felt safe and convenient. The accommodations are basic and a little outdated, but it’s a great budget option.
We’ve come back to this gem for a second time, and we’ll definitely return for another vacation. Everything seems considered to make the stay comfortable. The staff are lovely and friendly, we love you Amir. The room was lovely and super clean, with everything we needed, a great shower and toiletries, a very comfy bed and the softest sheets. It’s really quiet indoors, thanks to double glazing and another double glazed window on top of that. The location is super central, walkable, and has bus connections all over Jerusalem.
