Stay Kook Suites

The staff were very good, and the bathroom and toilet were good too. It’s in a very convenient location, and the price is very good compared with other hotels. My only complaints were that there was no table or bedside table for my phone and other essentials, and the bath towels smelled unpleasant. I’d recommend it.

I was already going to leave a low rating because the Wi-Fi and AC weren’t working. Now I’m stuck outside because the key card has stopped working, and there’s nobody at reception. None of the phone numbers posted on the reception door are answering. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here.

The biggest problem was how little anyone responded when we asked for help. The room near reception was noisy, with people coming and going and no sound insulation. One night, guests arriving to check in in the middle of the night were left outside, shouting because nobody was at reception, and we couldn’t sleep. The hotel looks good, but our room wasn’t ready even though we arrived an hour after the scheduled check-in time. It was still dirty from the previous guests. They cleaned it quickly, but the floor remained dirty. The weather was cold and rainy, and the air-conditioning wouldn’t heat the room. We reported it on the first night. Since they couldn’t fix it that day and had no other room available, they said someone would come the next day or they would move us and offer a refund as a goodwill gesture. Nobody contacted us, so we raised it again that evening. Nothing changed. We asked for a solution four or five times and never heard back. They didn’t seem to care about the guest experience, and never even got in touch to apologize. It’s not a cheap hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend it. I don’t usually post public complaints about businesses, but this stay was really bad.

Our stay at Stay Kook Suites was a delight. My partner and I were in Jerusalem at the end of a two-week trip, and the hotel was much more accommodating than we expected. Our flight landed a little after midnight, but when we finally arrived, the room key and all the important information were ready for us. The room was clean, spacious, and very nice, and the Wi-Fi worked without any problems. Breakfast was included each day, with fresh juice. When a change to our flight plans meant we needed another night at the last minute, they helped arrange it and also organized our shuttle back to the airport. I’d absolutely recommend the hotel and would stay again if I return to Jerusalem.
