The rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was central. But the proprietor led us to believe the noisy kiosk (convenience store) nearby wouldn’t be a problem. He said we wouldn’t hear it and that the loud pop music would stop by 9pm. It kept going late into the night. After driving 400 kms, losing sleep was rough, especially with another 500 kms to drive the next day.

There’s plenty to explore around here, from hikes and wineries to archaeological and historical sites, and it’s an inexpensive place to stay in the center of the Golan. The rooms are large, clean, and nice. Breakfast at the Blueberry Cafe costs extra and comes too late to be useful, though there’s a big supermarket nearby. In winter, some rooms don’t heat well. Room 27, for example.

For a restaurant in a tourist spot, it’s pretty good.

The host was friendly and quick to respond, and breakfast was tasty and filling. The room was spacious, though the air conditioning wasn’t great. It blows right at the bed and can’t be adjusted.
