Golan Garden Hostel

The cottage-like feel is lovely, and it’s so clean. The host really knows the Golan and spends lots of time making sure each guest has the details they need for hiking and touring, including which sites to visit, how long it takes, and how to get there. Best pancakes in the world! It’s the greatest place on Google earth, and people always come back.

My friends and I came for a weekend of hiking nearby. The rooms were clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly, especially the owner, Alon. There are free pancakes every morning and some solid restaurants close by. Easily the best hostel in the area.

The sunset tour and trips to natural pools and waterfalls were beautiful, and I had an amazing time at the Golan Garden. Alon and the staff were super friendly and made me feel at home. The hostel was clean too. Highly recommend!

For a few days, this place can feel like living in a co-op, which is exactly what I was after. People are always playing music, cooking up creative food and finding new ways to use herbs from the garden. Everyone’s helpful and curious about each other’s stories. We played board games and swapped tales from our hikes and the people we’d met. I’d love to live here, and I’m looking forward to coming back. The volunteers, staff, and guests were wonderful.
