The photos online are nice, but our experience with the manager was frustrating and unreliable. Five friends and I booked through booking.com for a few days in northern Israel. A few days later, the site emailed to say our payment had been declined, though I checked my bank and saw the card had been charged. When I called the manager to ask about it, he kept telling me to call back later, including when I tried several times that night. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited until morning. By then, booking.com had canceled the reservation, again citing a declined payment. I called for an explanation, but he didn't answer. Later, he said he'd canceled because we were "too young," despite not knowing our ages. He told us renters had to be at least 30 to stay in the villa. From this experience, he seemed highly unreliable and very poor at communicating. The one star is for the website photos.

We visited in January, when the pool was closed. The room was fine, though nothing special beyond that.
