Hagoshrim Hotel Nature

The whole experience left me disappointed with the HaGoshrim Hotel. I’d called about booking rooms for four families, and Tamar initially sounded very pleasant. She said guests would get free tickets to Mount Hermon, but then told us we had to come in person to sign before receiving them. Since we were planning a surprise party, we asked if the tickets could be sent. They refused, even though I offered to pay for a courier. It took nearly four days to get approval for me to collect them the day before, which meant a three-hour round trip just to pick them up. I felt the sales staff were unprofessional and made a simple issue unnecessarily difficult. Tamar hadn’t even checked with Billy about whether delivery was possible. Later, Billy reached me through another contact, apologized for the inconvenience and said she’d authorize Tamar to send the tickets to my home. That would have resolved everything. When my sister-in-law tried to speak with Tamar, Tamar called me a “snoozer,” which I found disgusting. There was another unpleasant moment as we were leaving: two fathers and some children were playing soccer on the sidewalk, and one of the fathers hit me in the back with a ball while I was pushing the luggage cart toward the parking lot. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet stay or good service. There are nearby hotels that offer better quality or service.

A lovely base for exploring the area, with attractions and hiking trails close by. There’s also a little-known path nearby that follows a small stream. We enjoyed the food, the comfortable rooms and the location, and found it especially good value for a family hotel. The extra charge to use the spa was the one letdown. I’d definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the atmosphere and the good food. The hotel was really nice, and we also had a wine session.

The service throughout the hotel was wonderful, and we had a great two-night stay on a half-board plan with breakfast and dinner. Our room was spacious, clean and cozy, with greenery outside and lovely decor. Meals came in generous portions, with plenty of choices, all presented nicely. Guests can park for free and use the indoor and outdoor pools and the gym. The gym is small but had what we needed. We also had a massage at the hotel spa. Highly recommended!
