Finding a holiday that works for five people can be tricky. Two rooms are sometimes necessary, and that can push the price too high. This was our first trip to the north since October 7th, and it brought back how much we love the area.

We got lots of useful tips for nearby attractions over WhatsApp before reaching the holiday village. The hut was clean, nicely decorated, and in good shape, with a secluded terrace and a spectacular Sea of Galilee view from every window. The place is well maintained. Breakfast at the restaurant was an okay buffet, served from 8-10 am. We loved staying here and will certainly come back.

The pool was great, and we had it to ourselves, but the room was basic and the stay never turned into the relaxing break we wanted. We even planned to pay for early check in. Instead, while the place was about three-quarters empty, they changed the tree lighting right outside our lodge. A little truck kept running and made a piping noise whenever it reversed, so we couldn't rest, sleep, or even talk. Around 17:00, after we returned from the pool, loud drilling started in the neighboring lodge. Then our water was shut off when we wanted to shower, and it took three calls to get it back on. The drilling kept going. We also noticed new mattresses stored in the horse stalls, which I'm not sure is the right place for them. Management canceled our early check in deposit and gave us a 15% discount, but we still didn't get the quiet getaway we came for.

We come back every year and have stayed in all kinds of rooms and cabins. They're always clean and well equipped. Some look a little outdated, but they're kept in good shape and have a nice rustic feel. The pool is amazing too, with gorgeous views, partial shade, and a pleasantly cool temperature on hot days. We also love taking rides on their horses, the views along the way are stunning.

We were four families and got cabins next to each other, which worked well. The peaceful setting has amazing views, and horseback and pony rides are available on site. Breakfast was an amazing spread of Israeli buffet favorites, including fresh vegetables, fruit, and pastries. The cabins could use a little renovation to stay up to date, though that didn't take away from our great experience. It's also a great base for exploring the Galilee and Golan areas.
