We saw families who seemed to be enjoying themselves, but for a romantic getaway, even four stars feels generous. This was our second visit after a wonderful holiday here years ago. This time everything was okay, though nothing stood out, and I think it’ll be our last stay. Some of the problems weren’t the hotel’s fault, especially the unusually awful weather for this time of year. Still, the room was extremely expensive, and the private pool wasn’t heated, so we couldn’t use it. Our room was far from the main building, and the rainy, slippery walk was uncomfortable. The hotel’s free cart service helped, but it’s open on the sides and cold to ride in that weather. The food was disappointing too. The steaks one evening were overcooked and far too salty, and the steamed dumplings were actually fried. It wasn’t bad, just nowhere near worth the exorbitant price.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here, and it was such a memorable experience. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Israel. This is the kind of thing you have to experience once in your lifetime, truly bucket-list material. We’ll be talking about it for years and will be back ❤️

We were travelling around Mitzpe Ramon when our car suddenly started having trouble. One of your staff, a guy named labil, came to help. He was patient, kind, and incredibly helpful, even though it took a while. We were really impressed by the staff at Hotel BaReshet in Mitzpe Ramon. You’re lucky to have him, and should be proud of your team.

The view and architecture are incredible, but much of the hotel is mediocre, sometimes worse. The rooms need more maintenance, since some things don’t work properly. The sauna was the worst part of my stay. To me, a spa and especially a sauna are important in a luxury hotel, but this one feels like the cheapest option was picked just so the hotel could say it has one. There are about 100 rooms, yet the sauna barely fits five people. Its door swings both ways and doesn’t close properly, so cold air rushes in every time someone enters or leaves. This should be one of Israel’s finest hotels. If this is Israel’s finest...
