Amigo Hotel On The Beach

Nothing fancy, but the room was clean and had WiFi and AC, close to the beach. Being able to make food or tea and coffee in the large shared kitchen was a nice extra.

The location is right by the beach, near the lifeguarded area. The rooms are spacious, with their own kitchens, and there’s also a fully equipped main kitchen outside. A nice apartment hotel.

Clean, comfortable rooms just a block from the beach. Mul Hayam is worth trying if you want kosher fish. It’s about a 10-minute walk along the coast.

The good parts were the fast, stable WiFi throughout the building, strong AC, and staff who were kind, helpful, and spoke good English. It’s also very close to the beach. Still, I’d save my money and stay somewhere else, even if that meant a longer walk to the water. This didn’t feel like a regular hotel, just a building full of apartments. There’s no lobby, hallway, or shared grounds, only a small dining space and kitchen. The furniture is old and looks dirty, even if it isn’t, and some fixtures need attention, including poorly insulated bedside lamps and outlets. The bathrooms were especially unpleasant. A plastic shower curtain clings to you, and with no shower enclosure, we had to mop up the water after every shower. My MasterCard wouldn’t go through because the front desk’s POS machine was old. I had to withdraw cash from a local ATM to pay, which could mean extra fees for some tourists.
