Nazareth Plaza Hotel

The room had a carpeted floor and the amenities were complete, though there was no toothbrush or toothpaste. Wi-Fi in the room was very weak, while the lobby connection was good. The room hall was dark, with fewer lights, even though they switched on automatically. The lobby area was still being renovated and looked a little messy. At around 5 PM, during the peak check-in hour, the receptionist responded quickly when I needed to switch from a double bed to twin beds. The restaurant manager was welcoming and friendly, and the food had enough variety. The parking area was spacious.

I was on the 8th floor, and the internet didn’t work at all. Seems pretty normal.

The food was delicious, and most of the staff were friendly. I had a good experience at the hotel overall, and I think there’s room for improvement. The facilities needed updates, and the gym charged me $10 a day to use it, which I wish it didn’t. The cafeteria/food manager was the exception among the staff. He yelled at his staff across a room full of diners, then openly shouted at a friendly Catholic Priest, who wasn’t wearing Catholic Priest uniform/attire at that moment and had done nothing wrong. He could have quietly and gently raised his concern with the priest instead of berating him over something the priest hadn’t done. My suggestion is that he apologize to the priest, who brought 100 guests with him on a religious trip to Israel.

The salad bar at Plaza Hotel was awesome, and I really enjoyed the food on this trip. This was my first stay here and my second visit to Israel. My room was decent enough for a good night's sleep, though I can't tell whether the towels had been replaced or just folded neatly. I liked that the shower stall wasn't cold in winter, since I enjoy showering every day even then. The receptionist in the lobby was pleasant despite the peak period. I wouldn't mind returning to Plaza Hotel-Nof Hgalil.
