The location was so good that it made the stay worthwhile, and the interior looked modern. Still, there were roaches in the bathroom, cats wandering onto the balcony, and only scalding hot water from the shower and faucet. Parking also cost 30 nis each time we entered the spot.

The hotel felt worn out, and the service was poor. We traveled with our parents. At first we thought we’d lucked out because their room looked very worn and smelled strange, but the next day we started seeing cockroaches in ours. We hadn’t opened the balcony or eaten in the room. The manager offered either another room of the same type, with no promise the problem wouldn’t happen again, or disinsectization, also with no guarantee. Basically, she said, “What can I do?” They treated the room, but cockroaches were back the following day. There’s also a very loud restaurant right next door, “Furman’s pizza.” Music played almost every day past midnight, and we could hear it clearly even with the balcony door shut. The room had no noise isolation, and the hotel didn’t seem to try to improve things for guests. I went to reception after midnight and asked them to call the police. The receptionist didn’t understand English at first, but eventually called. The music was loud again the next day. I don’t recommend staying here, especially if you’re young.

Dinner on a weekday was very basic, so eating out is probably the better option. Breakfast was okay. The hotel has a nice sea view and is very close to the beach, but the building feels old and outdated, with an odd smell throughout.

The location was perfect for the main attractions, and the rooms were clean. Service was quick too. One of my best hotel stays.
