Sea Park Hotel Netanya

There was a bad smell as soon as I came in. The rooms were filthy, with nail clippings and hair on the pillows, and the balcony railings looked ready to fall off. This place is unsanitary and disgusting. It’s disgraceful that it’s still open in Israel.

I left immediately. There was dirty underwear in the shower and black mold in a corner, with blood on the walls. The rooms were disgusting, unsanitary, and full of bed bugs.

If you want somewhere calm and uplifting, this is an ideal location.

The lobby looks nice, but the weekend at Park Hotel was a nightmare. The place seemed to have gone without maintenance for a long time. There were two small elevators, with a note saying only four people could ride. One made frightening noises and broke down with my mother and wife trapped inside for half an hour. No one at the front desk was on call to help. Eventually a worker forced the door open, and nobody came to repair it before we checked out. The bathroom leaked, paint was peeling, and the air conditioners were terrible and noisy. The room door locks were junk, and the key got stuck. Windows were filthy and broken, and the hallways and stairwell had no lights at night. There were power failures again and again. Someone told me the building was going to be torn down, and that the owner was still running the hotel without putting money into maintenance. I’d never go back. Think twice before booking, even if the price looks tempting.
