The view is stunning, and every room has a large porch facing the Mediterranean Sea. It’s a beautiful 29-floor hotel on the water, with clean rooms and pleasant staff. There’s a buffet restaurant downstairs for dinner and breakfast, plus a small bar by the lobby. FYI, there’s an Avis car rental office in the lobby.

The pool is lovely, parking is free, and breakfast is plentiful and very nice. Reception staff are welcoming, though the restaurant staff seem very unbothered. The views are amazing, but beach access is now closed, so it’s about a 2.5km walk to reach the beach. The gym was disappointing for a ‘spa’ hotel and isn’t open all hours. Rooms have kitchens but no utensils, including cutlery. Also, anyone highly sensitive to smells should be aware that the hotel uses very strong perfume throughout the common areas.

The big living room table is heavy metal with very sharp edges all around. Be careful with cruising toddlers and small children, and it was too heavy for us to move. Rooms need renovation. The kitchen has only a fridge and microwave, with no other equipment, utensils, or dishes. There’s no beach access, and the shower in the smaller bathroom has a ceiling fixture but no handheld douch attachment. On the plus side, the balconies are huge and have magnificent views. The bedrooms and master bathroom are spacious, and reception was helpful, prompt, and pleasant.

The positives were a good breakfast, free parking, and a nice view. The hotel is very expensive for what you get, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The kids’ club was closed the whole time despite being advertised as open. The gym and pool were also closed. We stayed two nights and three days with family, hoping for better service and amenities after reading reviews on TripAdvisor and elsewhere. On arrival we had to change rooms because ours was neglected, but the lower-floor room we moved to was no better. The hotel needs serious renovation. It can look good at first glance, but everything felt overused, chipped, and worn out, and the furniture needs replacing or refurbishing. I could easily upload over 100 photos of defects in both rooms and around the hotel. The Wi-Fi went out for a couple of hours on the first night, which was a problem for work. When I asked when it would return, I got an excuse instead of a clear answer. I asked for balcony chairs and was told they weren’t available because of the wind, though it was over 15°C and not windy. There was no microwave or coffee machine in the room. We were meant to have an Executive Suite with two rooms, but got something only similar. The promised king beds weren’t there: one was a queen, and the other was two beds pushed together. When I asked, I was told that was what they had.

After a long flight, this was a lovely place for the first night of our church tour through Israel. We stayed only one night, but caught a beautiful sunset over the Mediterranean Sea. Since we were part of a large group, we didn’t speak with many employees. The food service was great, with plenty of options. Rooms were a little dated, but mostly clean.
