The worst part was the noise. The corridor carried sound badly between rooms, and the door insulation was so poor it felt like the door was open. Housekeeping carts were extremely loud, and guests out in the garden were unbearable. I wouldn't choose this place as a couple, it seems more suited to families and organized groups. We're very unlikely to return. I'd give it somewhere between two and three stars. The location is nice, up in the hills on the way to Jerusalem. Our room was the last one at the end of the 4th floor corridor, quite a trek. It looked outdated, and the garden-facing windows were completely busted. The jacuzzi water wasn't clear when we turned on the tap, and the shower leaked enough water to make a mess of the bathroom. After dinner, the TV stopped working, and someone had to come fix a blown fuse in the power outlet. The TV was old too, with no built-in Netflix. Only Android users could mirror content, while everyone else was stuck with regular TV. The hotel itself has no pool, but lets guests use the Olympic style pool at the country club, a 10 minute walk away. The water wasn't heated, but it wasn't ice cold either. We had half board. Dinner was an okay buffet, though how it felt depended on when you arrived. It was very noisy when we got there, then gradually calmed down. Breakfast the next morning was better, with lots of choices and a calm atmosphere.

The rooms with a pool are wonderful, and the breakfast is amazing. Kitty, there's constant noise outside from the neighbors.

Thanks so much for the service and for being such a celliac friendly hotel! Big thanks to Hagai, the head chef, and his staff! 🙏

It's a few minutes by car from the hustle and bustle of Jerusalem, up on a hill among the beautiful Jerusalem hills. The lobby is staffed around the clock, and breakfast is included and excellent. Rooms are spacious and very clean, the showers have great water pressure, and the service is great. There's a community pool shared with homeowners from the nearby community.

The grounds and lobby were lovely, and we had a very nice time at the family Bar Mitzva for Shabbat. But our room on the second floor was much smaller than the others and directly opposite the stairs. There was barely enough space to get our suitcases around the bed and fixed table. Our hosts had paid through Shabbat, which ended at 8:30. We stayed Saturday night before an early flight to the US and were charged 719.99NIS for a small room for just 12 hours. We were also charged VAT, although as tourists we should not have had to pay it. Sunday breakfast was exactly the same food as Saturday dinner, and the dining room floor was so sticky it was hard to walk across. A woman at reception was the one bright spot. I can’t remember her name, but she tried to get the charge reduced. She spoke with the manager in Arabic and was told no, because that was the deal he had made with the Bar Mitzva host, which I find hard to believe. I emailed the manager with questions about the bill and still haven’t heard back. Definitely not worth the money.
