I’ve been coming for years and still love this hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly, and there’s a fun play area for kids. The outdoor pool is wonderful, but only open in summer. The family style facilities are nice, and the place has been renovated recently. It feels fancier now, though not luxurious, and it’s clean and well kept. The food is plentiful and I always enjoy it, with lots of options. Breakfast is dairy, with eggs, strudels, fresh omelettes, and pancakes. Dinner has meat, chicken, and fish, with rice and potatoes, and maybe pasta as a side. There are salads in between, plus grilled chicken and meat at dinner. The private beaches are fully separate for men and women. It’s a wonderful feeling there. Highly recommended for Mehadrin families.

!!! Not recommended !!! We booked by phone, and were told the price was 986 shekels, payable when we arrived. But the receipt showed 1,018 shekels for one room for one Thursday night. The bed turned out to be two single beds pushed together. We hadn’t been told beforehand that the hotel is religious. The beach is separated for men and women, and the Jacuzzi and gym are available by the hour, separately for men or women. When we asked for a time slot together, the receptionist laughed and refused. After checkout, I saw a charge of 2,018 shekels on one credit card. They said they had refunded 1,000 shekels to another card we used for the reservation. I’m still waiting to see that refund... Wouldn’t recommend!!!!!

A quiet, quick getaway could work here, but it’s pricey for what you get and not great value. The food was underwhelming, average at best and a little below average. Rooms in the main building are clean and fine, and look renovated, though not recently. The outside rooms are older, but clean too.

We took a family vacation in the Golan. The location was beautiful, the hotel was clean and well kept, and the food tasted good.
