Safed was easy to explore from this well located hotel. We found the atmosphere peaceful, the rooms comfortable and clean, and the staff warm and attentive. A relaxing stay.

The rooms could use a renovation since they feel dated, but the rest of the property, including the service and vibe, was great. Breakfast was very good, and you’re right in the old city with everything close by. There’s a pool, though it only opens in summer. I’d happily return, and updated rooms would make the place a full five out of five for me.

The food was delicious every day, and the rooms were comfortable and very well maintained. We also liked that the other guests were respectful, which added to the relaxed feel. Everyone we dealt with, from reception to housekeeping and the pool attendants, was friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful. They seemed to go out of their way to make guests’ stays enjoyable. The hotel stayed quiet and restful throughout our visit. We were welcomed warmly on arrival, and getting an upgraded room was a lovely surprise.

It’s worth taking a stroll around the hotel and hearing about the building’s past. We also joined a guided walk through the nearby neighborhood and visited the hotel’s wine workshop. The atmosphere here feels special and inspiring, and it’s easy to see why so many celebrities have stayed. There are a few small things that could be improved, but they didn’t change my rating.
