I paid 30,000 shekels for three weeks and felt I was treated worse than I’d expect at the lowest-standard hostel. I wouldn’t stay here again if safety, clean sheets, a properly cleaned room, or respectful treatment from management matter to you. I’d tell families to choose somewhere else and save their money and peace of mind. My concern was that someone had been in my room. I found a coffee cup left behind, and after I reported it, I was told the cleaner had finished and left the room in perfect condition. Only my child and I were supposed to be in there. Whether it was a staff member snooping or another guest breaking in, I wanted the hotel to find out what happened. Management didn’t check the security footage or investigate, so now they say there’s no proof anyone entered. No one from management came to help. Instead, the manager shouted at me and behaved like a rude market brawler, with no professionalism or basic manners. I had to go to the police station myself and bring an officer back so I could access my own safe and get any assistance. The police didn’t open an investigation because nothing was missing, but no theft doesn’t mean there wasn’t a serious security and privacy breach. Someone was in my room, left a coffee cup, and had no permission to be there, yet management didn’t consider it concerning enough to act. The manager should have calmly checked the cameras and responded to a serious security concern instead of shouting at a guest. The way the hotel dismisses my claims and defends its reputation only confirms its failures around guest safety and concerns. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Shame on this appalling place. No guest should have to endure it.
