Eclectic Apartments

The location around Alenby and Rothschild was ideal, and the beds were comfortable enough. The hosts were accommodating, but otherwise hard to reach. The entry door was always unlocked, which made security feel nonexistent. There was no housekeeping, so we had to collect clean towels ourselves. The air conditioning could have worked better, and the economy room is tiny. We also found a used condom on the floor by the bed.

This is an apartment, not a hotel, and hot water was available only at certain hours. There was no one for check-in, so you have to call for an entry code. The bathroom was tiny and not really clean. Street noise went on all night, then construction started at 7am. It was extremely noisy.

There was loud music through the night, the windows didn’t close properly, and there was no staff around when we needed help. The furniture was broken and the place was dirty. We booked another hotel during the night and left in the morning. I’d give this “hotel” minus stars if I could. Even one star is too much.

I stayed one night on May 8 2018, but after going out I couldn’t get back into my room because its very old door had broken. Nobody was at reception, and no one answered calls or voice messages until 9-10 am. My belongings were locked inside, so I had to sleep somewhere else. The owners arrived in the morning and said they’d send my money back soon, but I still haven’t received the refund. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
