Idelson Deluxe Apartments

The room wasn't clean and was full of mould. Nobody was there when I arrived, so I waited two hours for someone to show up. When I tried contacting them by WhatsApp and phone, I got no reply.

The room had a strong musty, mouldy smell, and I'd cough badly whenever I was in there. It didn't feel healthy to me, so I can only recommend avoiding it. I also found two large live cockroaches in the room. This doesn't really operate like a hotel. The front desk wasn't staffed, even during the day, and nobody serviced the room. I ran out of toilet paper and had to buy some at a convenience store. The building is very old, and the hot water didn't work well, which are the usual quirks of staying in Israel. The room was cheap and the location near the beach was great. But because of the mould, I moved to a more expensive hotel.

Calling this a hotel feels like a stretch, it's more like a hostel and not for adults. The location is excellent, in the middle of things and a few blocks from the beach. But the room smelled even though it was clean, the other guests were loud and rowdy until 2 in the morning, and the sheet didn't even fit the bed.

The bathroom had no hot water, and the room was filthy. Behind the refrigerator were cockroaches and roach traps; under the bed I found dirt, a bitten sandwich, a used water bottle, and dirty towels. The sheets were dirty too, and there was dust everywhere. I attached photos. Even though the receptionist was nice, this was a very bad experience and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. Don't let the low price compared with the city average fool you. This shouldn't be called a hotel and should be closed.
