We found cockroaches in the kitchen, even though there wasn’t any food there. I also spotted a tissue with blood under the bed when I picked up my phone. The room looked clean at first, but that made me wonder what else hadn’t really been cleaned. My girlfriend and I had booked two nights. Our trip changed, and we wanted to cancel, but they wouldn’t let us.

The room smelled bad, the sheets and pillowcases didn’t seem to have been changed, and there were cockroaches on the walls and drawers. A group of guys were drinking outside when we arrived, which frightened us, although luckily nobody bothered us. The receptionist looked like a bystander from the way he was dressed, but he was nice. Still, this is the worst hotel I’ve seen in Tel Aviv. I’d never come back or recommend it.

The staff were quite nice, but there was only one man working during our stay, so reception was closed several times when we needed help. Smoking was allowed all around the place, including the corridors, and the neighborhood didn’t feel very safe. I was disappointed by the cleanliness: the towels, floor, and curtains were dirty, and the curtains had holes in them.

The rooms are small, and the bathrooms even smaller. There’s no room service or laundry facility, and the Srilankan staff were rude and unprofessional. We felt tricked into booking here, and because we’d paid in advance, we had no option. It might work for someone on a very tight budget; otherwise, avoid it.
