The location worked really well for walking to the beach or Old Jaffa, and there’s a light rail stop almost at the front door. I appreciated the breakfast buffet, and they leave pastries and fruit out during the day for snacks. The staff were friendly, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the man at the desk when I arrived around 8-9 in the morning kindly let me use a vacant room’s shower after my flight. I forgot to ask his name, but I was grateful. The building could use some attention, mostly plaster and paint, and maybe new seals on the shower doors. Now and then a door or something nearby made an odd noise, and I think parking garage sounds could get louder than I liked, though it never kept me from sleeping or woke me. They use regular keys rather than card keys, in case that matters to you. I’d stay here again if I’m back in the area.

I spent five nights here in October 2025 and have already booked again for December. The clean rooms have beds with really good mattresses, and the service is friendly and attentive. Breakfast is very good too. Joseph is a really good choice in Tel Aviv, and it’s at most a 15-minute trip to the beach from Jaffa.

The rooms, breakfast, and location are all great for the price. The morning reception staff were great too. My only issue was a Polish-speaking night clerk who laughed about customers and made jokes at their expense, apparently thinking nobody around understood Polish.

Joseph in Tel Aviv is a really good choice. The rooms are clean, the mattresses are very good, and the service is friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good as well. From Jaffa, it’s no more than 15 minutes to the beach.

The furniture was old and falling apart, and the rooms were in terrible, unsafe condition. When I got out of the shower, a two-meter section of the bathroom door frame fell on me. I was standing there naked, so it was a real shock. I reported it right away and was promised a 50% discount, but it never came. I sent several emails and even returned in person once to ask about the compensation. Staff said the owner would contact me and reimburse me, but he kept ignoring my emails. Very disappointing. Never again.
