Scarlet Hotel

The room was compact but cozy and had everything we needed, plus a lovely balcony. Service went well beyond what we expected. The hotel sits in a quiet spot between the beach and Tel Aviv’s food and nightlife, and the new ownership seems to be just what the place needed. Highly recommend.

The bathroom in the “deluxe” double room was filthy. I’ve attached a photo so you can judge for yourself. There was also no hairdryer, despite it being listed in the available amenities. Housekeeping needs proper training. Someone entered my room without knocking, which is absolutely unacceptable. At checkout, nobody even asked how my stay had gone, so I didn’t get the chance to raise all of this. Staff could use some training in basic hotel service too. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had. I’d never stay at this hotel again, and I should get my money back.

I live in Tel Aviv, so I already knew the location was lovely, and I was happy with the decor and the very fair price. I booked a room for a friend visiting from out of town, and when flight problems delayed his trip from Spain, the staff kindly helped adjust his reservation. Everyone was welcoming and offered help and local tips. Or was a delight to meet, always taking time to chat with guests about their trip and see what they needed. Jeremy and Bushra were lovely too. I’ll keep booking Scarlet Hotel for visiting friends and family.

I spent nine weeks at the Scarlet hotel on a business trip this winter, and the staff and management made it a great experience. Jeramie ran things excellently. It’s a block from the beach, with restaurants, bars, gyms, and public transport nearby. Parking around there is tricky, so I’d suggest biking or using public transportation.
