Ultra Hotel Boutique Tel Aviv

The room was a decent size, with a good shower and toilet, and the hotel's general upkeep seemed excellent compared with most Israeli hotels. The main drawback was street noise coming through, which made sleeping late difficult. Breakfast was fairly good for this type of hotel, around 3.5 out of 5. The three staff members we dealt with were so helpful and friendly I'd give them 10 out of 10. The lovely Tel Aviv beach is only a four- or five-minute walk away, and they can provide free towels and a carrying bag if you need one.

We enjoyed our one night here. The room had the things we needed, including complimentary water, a minibar, a safe, toiletries, a very comfy bed, and cable TV with plenty to watch. There are complimentary coffee, tea, and cookies in the lobby, too. The location is great for the beach, American embassy, shops, restaurants, and cafes. Reception I was really nice and sweet. The one annoyance was the "Ecological" water system: every so often it made a sound like a subway train going past. It wasn't too loud, but it could get irritating, whether it happened every 5-10 minutes or every 30-40 minutes.

The breakfast in the bar downstairs was amazing, with lots of freshly made food and a typical Israeli spread. The rooms are small, but smartly laid out, quiet, and very clean. Service was phenomenal from check-in onward: they walked me through every step and even accompanied me to my room. I was there for one night after a flight cancellation, and they also offered beach towels and a shower after checkout since my flight was late. I'd gladly come back.

Not long after arriving in Israel, my phone and wallet were stolen. The hotel staff went so far out of their way to help: they let me use the phone to call the US and cancel my cards, and one staff member came along when I went to try to track down my phone, to make sure I was safe and okay. The hotel itself was great too, with spacious, clean rooms, a great location, amazing prices, and a great breakfast. I'll definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.
