The owner was the standout, helping us with things about the property as well as giving general advice on what to see and do nearby. We parked on the road but could always find a spot pretty much right outside. Our room had a bedroom, a small sitting area and kitchen, a spa bath we didn’t use, and an attached steam bath. The steam bath was great for unwinding after a day of travelling and trekking. There were plenty of power sockets and the WiFi was good. The road outside is busy, so the noise was irritating. It wasn’t huge, but the metal framed, single glazed windows let it in, and there was no inner door to the bedroom.

If a quiet break is what you're after, this place fits. The property is beautiful and feels distinctive, right on the shore of Lake Kinnert in the Galilee. The service was excellent and had a homey feel, with lovely decor and great amenities.

We had a really enjoyable weekend at the Lake Mansion Boutique Lodge. Our room had a very comfortable bed, a Jacuzzi, a kitchenette and an espresso machine we made good use of. The place also worked well for the extended family sharing the villa for a get-together: there was room for everyone while still letting us have some privacy. The large barbecue patio had shaded tables, which was great for the family. The Hamam, an indoor heated pool, was a lovely surprise. The outdoor pool isn't heated, so it's more suited to summer, though it's there for the brave in winter. The building is old, but its renovations and upkeep are well handled. We'd come back, maybe next time with our whole family.

The Turkish bath is unbelievable. There’s also a really good kitchen and BBQ area, and the place has everything you need.
