Saturday at the pool was the highlight. The kids had the best time with the water slides, dancing and party atmosphere from the DJ and MC. The poolside kiosk stayed open all day with free drinks and popsicles. Food was really good too, with plenty of choices for kids and adults, vegetarian options, and soda, juice and beer on tap. The dining hall got crowded on Friday and Saturday, but there was still plenty to eat. We were there with our two kids under eight. The rooms were nice enough, though there wasn't a fan to clear the steam after showers. The balcony was tiny, but worked for drying swimsuits overnight. There are lots of hotels nearby, and loud music played on Friday night until around midnight. Earplugs should do the trick, though my kids fell asleep without them. Check-in was the real problem. I waited in line for 20 minutes, paid, then was told the room might not be ready and the keys weren't ready, so I'd need to come back in a few minutes. The whole family had to be present to get wristbands, so we waited for my husband to return from parking the car, then lined up again. There is no on-site parking. It took about an hour and 15 minutes to finally get our key cards. If check-in starts at 3, the room should be ready then. Waiting over an hour was not great.
