The private beach was the best part of our Thursday-to-Sunday stay. It's peaceful and well kept, and we spent hours there. We also liked the relaxed feel around the pool, though the pool is on the small side. Our garden room had a jacuzzi, a lovely surprise that made afternoons relaxing. The room was cramped and a bit small, and the jacuzzi isn't very private, but it was still a great addition. Dinner was excellent, among the best we've had at hotels in Israel, and breakfast had a good variety too. The spa didn't live up to the rest. Its relaxation area wasn't inviting or comfortable for sitting after treatments, and the dry sauna wasn't warm enough. There's room to improve it. The hotel is expensive, but we had a great time and would happily return for the food, atmosphere, and beach. A few spa upgrades would make the stay even better.

The hotel was nowhere near clean. Around the main seaside area, empty cups and cigarette waste had been left lying about, which suggested poor maintenance and hygiene. We also found a flying bug in our bed, despite never opening the balcony. That's unacceptable. Things got worse when we spoke with the hotel's Deputy Manager, Lital. We waited more than 30 minutes for her, and then she spoke in a condescending, dismissive, disrespectful way throughout. Rather than take responsibility, she blamed the hotel's “busy” period and said cleanliness problems came from the “type of guests” attracted by a promotion. She even implied people who booked at a discount were of “lower quality.” That was offensive and unprofessional. We weren't offered proper compensation. I'm visiting from the United States, and my sister-in-law is a disabled IDF veteran. We were shocked by the service and attitude. The whole experience was below every standard, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend the hotel. It isn't worth the money.

From outside, the hotel doesn't look especially interesting, but inside there's clear attention to style and detail. Dinner was fantastic, and our spacious room had a great view. Some rooms also have a small outdoor jacuzzi. The spa was the weak point. The small sauna and steam baths need cleaning and probably renovation. There was no thermometer in the sauna, which was small and too hot. The indoor jacuzzi was small, smelled strongly of chlorine, and didn't look very clean. The massages were good, though the customer care and treatment ritual could use more attention. Still, we had a great experience and would come back.

Galei Kinneret in Tiberias is a polished, peaceful escape on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. It pairs panoramic lake views with designer rooms, an infinity pool, a spa, and fine dining inspired by local flavors. The service feels personal, and the atmosphere is calm and private. A place to slow down and enjoy luxury, with sunsets that feel personal and moments that stay with you. @Philgym

The staff made this feel like a five-star stay. They were consistently kind, smiling, and ready to help, and kept things spotless while making guests feel cared for. I want to thank every one of them. We travel around the world as a couple, and this is among the best hotel teams we've met. The food was excellent on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Since this is a kosher hotel and the food is prepared ahead, I expected it might taste that way, but everything was fresh and delicious. The room, pool, and view were fantastic too. We absolutely recommend it and will come back on our next visit to Israel.
