The kibbutz pool is large and pleasant, and there’s lots of open space around the rooms for kids to run around. That still doesn’t make this stay worth the exorbitant price. The mattresses look like they may be from the 1980s, and the rooms are kept to a very poor standard. There isn’t a proper shower enclosure, so water spreads across the whole bathroom and you have to scoop it up before it reaches the room. The dining room food was disgraceful, especially for what they charge. Stay elsewhere.

We had a group of 8 rooms, and the whole experience felt disrespectful to the guests. There was mold in the bathroom and kitchen cabinets, faucets were broken, and the air conditioners and refrigerators weren’t working. Even the kettle cord wouldn’t reach an outlet. Breakfast was poor too: the salads seemed to be leftovers from dinner, and the shakshuka was dry.

This seems to be used mostly as a cheap youth hostel, and I wouldn’t recommend it for couples or families. The breakfast is simple, though it’s within walking distance. The place is old, with an old Ravitz ceiling and an asbestos roof between you and the scorching sun. Spring or fall might be suitable, but summer is too hot and winter too cold.

The dining room food was the one good part of the stay. It was wonderful, very high quality, and in my opinion comparable to a hotel meal. The rooms, though, were horrible. We found spiders in the bathroom and a worm in the bed, and the refrigerator made awful noises in the middle of the night. The place was terrible, below all criticism. I’d stay away if you want a normal place to stay.
