Hotel Sunbeam

We ordered food from the hotel, but only got half of what we wanted.

The room was spacious and a good price. It had A/C, T/V with cable and toiletries, and the hotel also has a very budget-friendly bar, with a 60ML peg starting at 65RS. The veg and non-veg food was good too. We tried masala papad and other items. They really need to clean and manage the bath taps and faucets, though. They look like they haven't been cleaned in years.

There's good parking in the basement, and the hotel is easy to reach from the main road, especially handy since it's near ICAR institute. One of the oldest hotels in abohar, it offers spacious accommodation at competitive rates. Room service was nice, staff behaved well, and the dedicated restaurant had a pleasant ambience and courteous staff. The food was good quality and portions were sufficient.

I booked room 101 on 6 aug 21 for my work trip to abohar, left my luggage there, then went to the office. When I got back around 9 pm, the AC wouldn't work. Staff asked me to wait half an hour for it to cool, so I did. An hour later, I spoke to the 1st floor manager, who said he'd check with the electrician. After all that, at 11.45 pm they moved me to room 109. The AC worked there, but nobody had cleaned the bedsheet, so I cleaned it myself before going to sleep. In the morning there was no water in the washroom. Staff said I could use another room's washroom. The 1st floor staff were good, but management wasn't. Please don't visit, it's the worst hotel ever. If you want a cheap hotel, go somewhere else. I can't recommend this one to anyone.
