Works well for a group picnic. I wouldn’t suggest it for hanging out alone or as a couple.

The location has a nice, scenic setting, but it’s quite far from the main city and inconvenient if you want to explore Agartala. My stay at Green Touch Resort a couple of years ago was very disappointing. The room didn’t match the promising online photos and descriptions: the furniture was outdated, the linens stained, and there was a musty smell. The bathroom was worse, with broken fixtures and a leaking faucet. The pool looked dirty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The restaurant had very few options, and the food was below average. Service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. Cleanliness was a wider problem too, with litter in common areas that looked neglected. I wouldn’t recommend Green Touch Resort unless significant improvements are made. Management needs to address these issues to improve the guest experience.
The place itself is beautiful, and I enjoyed being there. But the food spoiled the mood: it was bad, the salt was lacking, and the meat seemed old.
Green touch resort has become a Skill India Development center. It takes about 35 minutes to get there from Agartala. The classrooms are well maintained, and tea gardens all around make for a lovely natural setting.
It’s a beautiful spot for taking photos, especially if you like having greenery as a backdrop. The place is very quiet and green wherever you look. There’s a hotel where you can stay, with a small shop nearby for snacks, coffee and light food. Great for getting some clicks.
