Hotel Sonar Tori Agartala

We spent seven days there, and the staff were polite and helpful the whole time. I appreciated that, but it couldn't make the stay restful. Our room was on the third floor, just under the banquet hall, and events upstairs meant loud music and the sound of tables and chairs moving well into the night. My kids couldn't sleep properly, so the constant noise made things uncomfortable. I hope management stops assigning the rooms below the hall to families or anyone who needs quiet. I wouldn't recommend it for a peaceful stay.

Back in 2022, we got caught in a terrible storm, and every hotel room in Agartala seemed to be taken. The management still found a way to give us a room and helped us when we needed it most. I'll always be grateful for their kindness that day. God bless them!

The manager actually suggested we post this experience, both in hard copy and on site, so here it is. We were charged a ₹260 fine, which we paid, after staff said we'd left a blood spot on the bedsheet. It was only a small mark from a mosquito we'd killed that night, but they wouldn't accept our explanation. The money isn't the point for me. Being treated with respect and honesty is. Hotel SONAR TORI's handling of this felt unprofessional and reflects badly on its management.

The area just outside Sonar Tori could use attention, especially since it's part of the business. Inside, the passage was clean, the lift was good, and the AC rooms were spacious with very good housekeeping. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and Dharmita at the dining hall was excellent too. Nandita and the other front desk support staff were awesome.
