I’d recommend Amar hotel for functions, and Ms Milli Chaudhary as the event manager. She and her team handled all the decorations, had everything ready ahead of time, and her assistant Mr Sadik coordinated with me during the event. I organized my father’s retirement party there, and all the staff were very nice. Ms Sakshi, the Banquet Executive, was especially professional, prompt, and cheerful. The food was delicious, and my guests enjoyed it and complimented both the venue and the meal.

The breakfast choices were limited, and hot water took a while to arrive. The room itself was a good size and had great air-conditioning. There was no hairdryer.

I found a reasonable rate of Rs 3000 for three days with breakfast by asking at the hotel, while online I’d seen a room tariff around Rs 5000. Maybe the site was using dynamic pricing. The hotel has spacious rooms and a good dining area, and the breakfast spread was good. The bathroom in my room needs maintenance. I’d happily visit again if I get the chance.

Hotel Amar felt both classy and homey, with decor and ambience we loved, and the food was divine. The central location was unbeatable, yet it was peaceful. The people really made the place special. Mr. Mritunjoy from laundry got our clothes spotless, and Manager Mr. Saha greeted us himself, checked on us several times, and spent ages chatting about local tips and other things. The security guards were always there to open doors and help with luggage, like personal assistants. We’d absolutely stay again. Big thanks to Mr. Saha and the whole team.
