The rooms, beds, bathrooms, and cleanliness were good, and the price was affordable. That’s why I’m giving it three stars. The rooms are classy and it’s a good budget hotel, but hot water was a real problem. There are two large geysers for all the rooms, and capacity seemed too low. We waited from 6 AM to 11 AM, which affected our Taj Mahal visit and the rest of our plans. They gave us a heating rod that takes 15 minutes to warm one bucket for one person. We had two rooms and five people, so you can imagine. Food in the area was also too expensive. A small bill came to INR 1200, and the food had no taste.

We booked through OYO for a lower price, but after check-in the hotel charged us extra and blamed technical errors. They only cleaned the room after we arrived, even though we had booked days ahead. The plug point, TV, and air conditioner didn’t work. Worst hotel ever. Pick somewhere else to avoid regret.

No Wi-Fi, the electric sockets didn’t work, and they switched off the AC without telling guests. They charged double for water and coldrink, and the owners clearly didn’t care about guests. We booked a room with breakfast, but in the morning they wasted two hours arguing about it. Tea wasn’t provided, and when we ordered from outside, they said outside food wasn’t allowed. After discussion, the owner allowed it as a goodwill gesture. Pathetic service. I don’t recommend this place to any traveller and will never visit again.

The rooms were good, but finding the place could be a problem. It’s near the Taj, though the surrounding area isn’t great, and the Google pin was wrong. There wasn’t even a sign outside.
