We paid Rs. 850 for a three-bed room. Compared with other lodges in the area, you can save 40% of your money here. It's okay if you want an affordable price, but it's a local kind of place, not sophisticated, and there's no attractive reception area. The main road nearby is a little noisy during the day, and the noise gets high at night. Whether that's manageable is up to you.

The room service was great. The room boy brought coffee and tea when we asked, and the wifi connection was good. We stayed a couple of days in Adyar and heard no outside noise. It's one of the best hotel rooms in the area, and good for the money.

We sent one of our employees here on a business trip and felt bad and ashamed afterward for recommending this place. The front office gave no proper response. The rooms weren't clean, and the sheets, pillows, and washrooms all smelled a lot. An air-conditioned room costs Rs.1000/- per day, and no refund can be claimed, so be careful before booking. This used to be better in 2015-16. It's a rotten house, not a guest house.

We got to the hotel at 23.45. They knew I'd already booked and paid through oyo, but showed me a really ugly, smelly room and told me to stay there or cancel the booking. It was the ugliest stay I've ever had. Don't book here if you need to wake up the next day.

Good restaurants are nearby, and the location is strategic, close to a bus stop and 15 minutes from the airport. It gets crowded around IIT admissions. It's very affordable, but be aware of the cleanliness.
