The room was great for the price, and getting to the Taj Mahal from the hotel was easy. I also found the staff helpful and very nice, and there was plenty of choice at the very good breakfast. I had a really nice stay and would recommend it in Agra.

Sonu Sharma deserves a special thanks for being so helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean, with tea and coffee available. Staff carried our luggage upstairs carefully, and everyone we met was friendly. Check-in felt smooth and professional, and the reception area was nice. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order. I especially liked the omelette, which was fluffy, a little crisp, and had vegetables that added a nice texture.

I want a refund, Ishpreet, not just an apology. I checked into two rooms with my young children and elderly mother, but left less than five hours later. The hot water and showers didn't work in either bathroom, even though I reported it right after arrival. The bathrooms were unpleasant to use, and with the temperature below zero, the lack of hot water made the whole trip miserable for my family. I felt cheated after reading years of similar complaints. Nobody has responded or apologized about what happened, so I strongly recommend people avoid spending their time and money here. I later saw complaints about noisy rooms with no soundproofing, unusable balconies because of AC units, website photos that don't match the rooms, being asked to change rooms when something goes wrong, reception staff who don't understand or speak English, the location being below par and too far from the Taj Mahal for a Taj view, and the need for renovation given the facilities and price. I experienced the bathroom and hot water problems myself. The hotel's CR, according to reviewers, responds to concerns with polished apologies and promises to fix things later. I also believe most Google reviews here are fake, and suggest checking Booking.com or MMT for feedback from actual guests.

Mahi, Khrishna & Shyam were quick to help me sort out my issues, and the rest of the staff were responsive too. The food was very good compared with many hotels. My Makemytrip booking was hassle-free, and I found the hotel itself very good. For the budget they charge, it offers reasonable value and more than the usual you get in Agra.
