Grand Mercure Agra

Our stay was mostly quiet and comfortable, and the staff made us feel well looked after. The one exception was a night of persistent noise from the roof, possibly due to maintenance or the weather, which made it hard to sleep. It seemed isolated and didn't detract from the experience overall. I highly recommend Grand Mercure Agra, especially for families or a special occasion. We'll definitely return. I spent four wonderful nights there from January 27 to 31, and having stayed at many 5-star hotels in India, this one stood out for its hospitality, personal service, and thoughtful touches. From check-in, the team were warm, professional, and attentive. At breakfast and dinner, the dining staff remembered individual preferences, including my specific tea requirements, which made meals feel tailored and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the chef for consistently outstanding food. The dishes were creative, flavorful, beautifully presented, and well balanced, and the ingredients and execution showed real skill and passion. The food was a highlight compared with many luxury hotels I've stayed at. The team also arranged a beautiful cake for my daughter's birthday, turning an ordinary evening into a lovely family celebration. Their thoughtfulness made us feel valued.

Breakfast was excellent each morning, with fresh Indian and international choices, attractively presented and regularly replenished. Thanks to Rafi, Sahil, Manan, Vikas, Saurabh, Chef Firoz, Chef Aumir, and Shyna for the courteous, attentive service at breakfast. Room service was prompt and efficient as well. I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Agra on Fatehabad Road, and found it relaxing and memorable. The people made a lasting impression, welcoming us throughout the stay with warmth and professionalism. The hotel has a contemporary style with understated elegance, and was spotless, well maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. After long days exploring Agra, the spacious, well-kept rooms and carefully chosen amenities made things comfortable and convenient. Wishing the whole team continued success and encouragement to keep up these standards.

The suite needed better upkeep and was in poor condition. The shower area drainage was clear, but water still didn't flow properly. The bathroom blinds had been installed inside the room, which made them pointless and was surprising. We hope management sorts these things out. We stayed there in January and had a good experience overall. Check-in and checkout were smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious both through in-room dining and at the restaurant, with consistently excellent taste and quality. The bakery items were fresh and delightful too.

The meals were a real highlight. Breakfast and dinner were both generous, and better than we expected. The hotel is also in a great spot near the Taj Mahal, with incredible views of it from the terrace. We found the facilities modern, and the staff consistently attentive, professional, and ready to help. The gym could use a refresh, but we had a great stay and would recommend it.
