Hotel Mani Ram Palace

The rooms smelled bad and weren't clean. I asked to switch rooms, and they moved me three times, but none of them felt good enough to spend the night in. A bad experience.

We saw water parasites in the washroom, which made the place feel unhygienic. The food tasted somewhat good, but it wasn't worth the money.

The food was quite good, better than most of the nearby restaurants, but I wouldn't recommend staying unless you're only there for the food. The price on the booking site set expectations the rooms didn't meet. Bathrooms were poorly maintained, with rusty, broken taps, a faulty flush, and stains and rust all over the WC. The sheets looked old and worn, like they hadn't been replaced in years. We asked housekeeping to change them, and they did, but left the bathroom as it was. Mosquitoes in the room also made the stay uncomfortable. Overall, it wasn't worth the cost.

Mosquitoes filled the room, so getting any sleep was impossible. We'd booked ahead, but the rooms weren't properly cleaned or managed. There was no bin, and the TV didn't work. The staff just told us to pick whichever room suited us, which felt totally unprofessional. The stay was awful. Don't trust the ratings, they can be manipulated. I'd strongly advise against staying here.
