Townhouse Puri Sea Beach Formerly Shri Jagannath Homestay

At least one person was helpful: a kitchen staff member got up at 1:00 AM and made me upma and tea, even though the kitchen was closed. The room itself was just average, but the rest of the staff were rude. My checkout was at 11:00 AM, yet the manager woke me with a call at 8:00 AM and spoiled my day. I told him clearly when I was meant to check out, but he threatened me and insisted checkout across Puri was only at 8:00 AM. He also said, “Go wherever you want, complain to whoever you want, you can’t do anything to me.”

The manager and staff at Anha were really polite, and I liked the room there too. I'd definitely go back if I get the chance.

The staff were good, and they served nice homemade food. Finding the hotel was a bit difficult, though. There should be clearer identification, perhaps a sign near the main road. Everything else was okay.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were very helpful. It's well placed too, about 400 m from the beach and 1 km from the temple. Best hotel, best location.
