Hotel Raj Paradise by OYO Rooms

There aren't any hotels or dhanas nearby, so you have to go a long way to find food. I wouldn't recommend it for families. Only couples seem to stay for one night stands. Service and staff behavior need a lot of improvement. The TV didn't work, and none of the switches worked either. It was a very bad experience, nowhere near the mark.

The room was average and the washroom setup was okay, though both were clean. Room service was very good, and the Taj mahal is nearby. I booked through OYO and check-in went smoothly.

The hotel is directly across from a graveyard. When I asked about it, they said it was nothing, but the night before I had clearly seen proof that it was a graveyard. The thought of seeing a shadow staring into your room at night is unsettling, whatever your religion. If you're brave enough to face that, enjoy your stay. This was my second visit. I expected good service again, but it was a total disappointment. The TV was out, they turned off the AC at night, and none of the water taps, including the Jet Spray, worked. The flush was broken too, so we had to use a bucket and mug, which was disgusting. Even after I complained, they didn't take it seriously. The service was much worse this time, and the room service guy stared at me in a really strange way. I don't recommend this hotel.

The complimentary breakfast was filthy, and in the morning we had to beg for water because the geysers in most rooms didn't work. One room we checked had cockroaches and a dirty toilet. The first room was full of cigarette smoke, apparently because staff smoke in rooms to stay out of sight of CCTV cams. The hotel is directly in front of a crematorium, with a view of it. Check in if you want to attain Moksha. This was our worst experience with OYO. We booked thinking the hotel had the usual Oyo standards and had been vetted by them, and we're sorry we trusted that. I strongly think Oyo should end its association with this hotel. We feel cheated. This is the first time Oyo has failed us, and we don't understand how the hotel meets its standards. Please don't let anyone else down. Absolutely hopeless, and not for families. Please don't venture here.
