The check-out was just as bad. All the service staff were asleep until 10 in the morning, and nobody was at reception. The amenities seem to be there only for show: the AC didn’t work, the TV connections were all broken, the fan regulator didn’t work, and the geyser only gave about a quarter bucket of hot water because it was a kitchen geyser fitted in the washroom. The water jug was so unclean I didn’t want to touch it. At night, I found out the doors are locked. It seemed to be for securing their first-floor banquet, not guests on the second floor. To get out, I had to call the owner’s helpline, then the owner called staff to unlock the door. I booked through MMT the day before, but despite booking ahead, I only got into the property at 4 in the evening. Either they’d given my room to someone else on an hourly basis, or the guest already there hadn’t left. The room was too small, with a dirty sheet and blanket and a pathetic washroom. I called reception three or four times, but nobody resolved it. The service staff were just as pathetic and clumsy. Please look at the pictures shared to see the hotel’s condition.

For a budget stay, the price is fair and the amenities are decent. We stayed one night, and the rooms were spacious, though they could use better dusting for a cleaner, more comfortable feel. The geysers were small, which was inconvenient. Larger heaters would be more practical, especially for families or in cold weather. Shivam Inn could be an excellent affordable option with cleaner rooms and an upgraded water heating system.

I’ve been to Hotel Shivam Inn three times, and every visit has been excellent. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the service feels personal. It’s a great venue for birthdays, engagements, or small to medium gatherings of up to 200 people. The location is prime and easy to reach, close to Central Park and various tourist attractions. It’s affordable while still keeping cleanliness and service standards high. The food is delicious, and the group deals are attractive. I highly recommend it for an event or a stay.

I’ve had a good personal experience here. It’s a well located hotel near Central Park on Sikandra-Agra road, and the owner and staff are friendly and supportive. The rates are pocket friendly and competitive for the quality of the food and service. Decoration, DJ, and lighting services are available as a package. A great spot for parties, celebrations, gatherings, or meetings for up to 200 guests. Highly recommended.
