The hotel was nice, neat, and clean, and the location was very good. Service was excellent and everyone was friendly.

We paid in full and came for my sister's wedding on December 29th, a once-in-a-lifetime day, but the stay was the worst hospitality experience I've had. The bathroom smelled horrible on arrival, and even in the cold weather the geyser wasn't working. We asked reception to clean the bathroom and fix the geyser, but nobody responded or came. When we asked for a simple cup of tea, they told us to manage from outside. My whole family suffered, and they failed us on a day that should have been joyful. The two receptionists, a woman and a man, were rude and dismissive, with an insulting attitude and no basic manners or coordination. It was shocking and a disgrace to the Marc Royal name. For a hotel of its supposed standing, the service was nowhere to be found. Small budget guest houses offer more warmth and coordination. Avoid this property at all costs, they don't care about guests' comfort, money, or special occasions.

It was my wedding, but the service was so poor that they turned my best day into my worst. Whenever we asked for something to be done, the staff were too lazy to act, and our guests had to wait for food. Even when I complained as the bride, the manager got angry. The lunch for our guests was served as dinner, and after spending so much, we still didn't receive the promised service. The staff were pathetic, and the receptionist was very rude and didn't even know how to write. Never hold your reception at this hotel. They ruined my wedding.

The rooms were nice, and the staff treated us well. Food and amenities were good too, and the reception and management responded nicely. A very good experience overall ❤️😊👍
