Mosquitoes were everywhere, and the rooms felt unhygienic. The sheets and pillow covers had stains, and even after I asked several times, they weren't replaced. There weren't any bedsheets provided, either. The landline didn't work, and staff wouldn't answer their mobile phones. The power-saving measures were another surprise: the lift was switched off, and the AC was turned off with its remote kept in the office so guests couldn't control it. Staff also wouldn't respond when needed. I would never recommend this place. This was the worst kind of stay I can imagine.

Room service was awful, and nobody answered the phone. They claim to have hot water around the clock, but I found that hard to believe. They didn't even provide doormats. In just 10-15 minutes, you could get bitten by mosquitoes. Staying here seems worse than sleeping on the road, and you might catch any number of mosquito-borne diseases. I'd give it -100 if I could. Stay at your own risk.

The only real drawback for me was the food, which came from a nearby hotel because The Residency doesn't have a kitchen. It was extremely spicy. Apart from that, I had a comfortable stay, and the front-desk staff and caretakers were very helpful. Everything they promised was provided.

Don't book this hotel online. After I arrived, they said there were no rooms available and wouldn't give me one. There was also a person who seemed to be drinking at the booking counter.
